Back in August, I delivered dinner to one of our neighbors as my daily act of kindness. I wrote about it in Meat and Potatoes. He went to live in a nursing home not long after that. The sad news is that he passed away on Christmas day. I was thinking about his wife today. I'm sure that she could use some extra love. So, today's act of kindness was a knock on her door and a little conversation on her front patio. I just wanted her to know that we are thinking about her.
Kind Regards,
Your Neighbor
that is very sweet of you...it's the ones left behind that suffer the most. How caring of you to let her know she's in your thoughts.
